About Scorch/Sublimation Tester, there are three methods: dry pressure, wet pressure and the tide, simulate different pressure environment on fabric, make selection according to product standards and customer requirements.

Fabric Scorch/Sublimation Tester Testing Standards: GB/T 6152-1997.

Scorch/Sublimation Tester Testing Principle 

1. Dry style pressure --- dry sample was put in a heating device for a certain time with the predetermined temperature and a predetermined pressure.
2. Moisture style pressure --- covers the dry sample with a piece of wet cotton adjacent fabric, and then put it in a heating device for a certain time with the predetermined temperature and a predetermined pressure.
3. Wet style pressure --- wet shape sample covered with a wet cotton adjacent fabric, and then put it in a heating device for a certain time with the predetermined temperature and a predetermined pressure

Sample Preparation

1) Fabric: take a sample size 40MM * 100MM.

2) Yarn: yarn tightly around a thin 40mm * 100mm hot inert material to form a yarn and only the thickness of the thin layer

3) Bulk fiber: Take a sufficient amount of loose fibers, after adequate diastolic pressure, made of thin 40mm * 100mm and sewn onto a cotton adjacent fabric to make support

4）Standard cotton adjacent fabric: 40mm * 100mm several (depending on the test content)

3. Test Procedure

(1) Sequentially put the asbestos gaskets, wool flannel and dry undyed cotton on the heating device.

(2)Select the appropriate pressing temperature, divided (110 + 2), (150 + 2), (200 + 2) third gear, according to different testing requirements of the following:

① Dry pressing: The dry pattern is placed on the lower flat note pad heating device, lay down the plate on the heating device, and make the sample pressure keep 15S at a predetermined temperature.

②Tide pressure: the dry pattern sample is placed on the lower plate of the heating device, take a piece of wet cotton fabric lining standard posts, soaked with water, extruded or rejection water to contain its own weight of water, and then place it on dry style, lay down flat on the heating device, the sample compression keep 15s at a predetermined temperature

③Wet pressing: A sample and a standard cotton fabric lining tie soaked in water, extruded or rejection of water to contain the quality of their water, the wet pattern is placed on the lower plate posts lining heating device, then put wet cotton adjacent fabric on the specimen, lay down the plate on the heating device, keep the sample at a predetermined temperature &pressure for 15s

(3) At the end of the experiment, immediately assess the level of the sample color on gray sample card.

(4) Set the sample under standard atmospheric conditions (temperature (20 + 2), relative humidity (65 + 2)) in 4h, do it again for fastness assessment.
